Fosco Grisendi was born in Parma in 1976, but he lives and works in Reggio Emilia for several years. In 2004 he approaches painting exhibiting for the first time in September 2007 at the Centro Qui Qua in Reggio Emilia. Fosco’s artistic work is focused in particular on the story of a reality filtered through television, advertising and graphics iconography. It is a production that is striking because on the one hand it is familiar, on the other completely foreign, as if we had to focus on it again to understand the meaning of what it reproduces.
In 2011 he was selected by Workin’ produzioni musicali of San Cataldo (LE) for the artistic residence Suoni a sud. He was also selected among the finalists of the Premio Marina di Ravenna 2012 (Galleria FaroArte, Marina di Ravenna, 2012) and RezArtePremioTricolore (Reggio Emilia, 2014) with exhibitions at Km 129 (Reggio Emilia, 2014) and Galleria Rosemarie Bassi (Remagen, Germany , 2014).
He was recommended by the jury of the Combat Prize 2013, 2014 and 2018. He created the graphic image of À vagg (2012) and Buia luce (2015), discs by the musical group Baffodoro and the poster for the filmOgni Opera di Confessione.
He has taken part in several personal and collective exhibitions, of which we point out:
